Effective June 1, NITE and Club Guy & Roni are looking for an HR and Payroll administrator.

We are dance company Club Guy & Roni and theater company NITE (Nationaal Interdisicplinair Theater Ensemble). With 60 employees, we form the largest interdisciplinary theater house in the Netherlands. We allow all disciplines to work together and in doing so create a new theater language.

What you will do |

The Finance/HR department at NITE and Club Guy & Roni consists of a team of two employees and a department head. Our administration department is service oriented to all departments within our organization. Together with your colleagues and depending on your talent, you will alternately have executive, controlling and advisory tasks in the field of HR and payroll administration. In addition, you will be the back up for the financial administration. We work with Afas, Exact online, Elvy, and Office 365.

  • You enjoy working with numbers and systems and are excellent with Excel;
  • You have an eye for detail, are service-oriented and punctual;
  • You keep up with developments in your field.

Responsibilities |

  • Making contracts for (temporary) employees, volunteers, interns and freelancers;
  • Applying for and arranging work permits, visas, etc. for (temporary) foreign employees from all over the world;
  • Submitting mutations to our external payroll processor and checking the output;
  • Process absence reports;
  • Performs administrative and organizational work in the area of recruitment and selection, appointments and retirement;
  • Point of contact for employees to answer HR questions;
  • Maintain and manage personnel files and HR systems;
  • Contact for Payroll Administration, Case Manager-Armedical Service, UWV and other personnel insurers;
  • Support financial administration such as, booking purchase invoices, processing bank mutations and handling payroll journal entries.

What do we ask |

  • Working and thinking level at least MBO-4 level; Preferably an education in the field of business administration and/or Human Resource Management;
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
  • You are communicatively strong and can quickly switch between different activities;
  • You have knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
  • You have a natural ability to connect with people at various business levels;
  • Lover of theater and dance performances (preferred).

  • A one-year contract with the intention of permanent employment
  • Part-time employment of 24-32 hours;
  • Salary and benefits according to scale 5 CAO Theater en Dans, between € 2,704 and € 3,941 gross depending on work experience and education;
  • 27 vacation days and 12 ATV for full-time employment (40 hours);

Interview procedure

Interviews will take place in weeks 18 and 19. The process includes:

  • Initial screening: resumes and cover letters are carefully screened by our recruitment and selection team. This includes consideration of relevant experience, skills and suitability for the position and organizational culture;
  • Initial Interview: Suitable candidates who meet the initial criteria will be invited for an initial interview. During this interview, the candidate’s background is explored in more detail and an evaluation is made of whether there is a match with the requirements of the position and the organization. Candidates who are not selected for an initial interview will be notified of the rejection reason;
  • Second Interview: After the first interview, suitable candidates will be invited for a second interview. This interview includes an in-depth evaluation of the candidate’s experience, skills and suitability. It also goes into more detail about the specific duties and responsibilities of the position;
  • Contract proposal: Candidates who successfully complete the second round of interviews receive a contract proposal. If a candidate is not selected, the person will be informed of the rejection and reason;
  • Employment Interview: Upon acceptance of the contract proposal, an employment conditions interview follows. Here details such as salary, working hours and other relevant matters are discussed and recorded;
  • Onboarding.
